Technology selection and implementation

From platform requirements to a delivered replacement

A financial-services client needed to replace an out-of-support communications management platform. It had been developing an RFP for several months and needed help translating its full requirements into a clear specification and vendor assessment.

The starting point and the response

  1. 01Define requirements
  2. 02Assess vendors
  3. 03Implement & train
  4. 04Support & maintain

Requirements made clear

A developed RFP specification helped the client communicate its needs and assess vendor responses.

A completed implementation

The selected solution was implemented, migrated and delivered on time and on budget, with zero defects reported at completion.

Support beyond delivery

Training and early oversight were followed by continuing technical support and maintenance.

What we did

We led the RFP specification and helped the client assess vendor responses. We were then asked to lead implementation of the chosen solution, including migration, user training, support and early oversight. We continue to provide technical support and maintenance, bridging business needs and vendor support.

The useful lesson

Selection, implementation and ongoing support are distinct needs. Clients can engage us at the stage where help is useful.
